Dexter stars Michael C. Hall, most known for his role as David in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. Michael C Hall plays Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter specialist working in Miami for the police.
It’s the season premiere of Dexter. Lila is dead. Dexter is back at work. His life with Rita is going well. Dex does something stupid when he moves in to kill Freebo. He kills someone else. He wasn’t prepared to find out who it was he killed. At least no one is on Dex’s case.
Dex is able to move on, to get by his father’s death while Deb is still stuck. I thought that this was a great way to start the third season of Dexter. I recommend this show, it was filled with interesting bits.

Dexter tests Miguel, and Miguel surprises him. Dexter has trouble believing that he’s getting his first real friend. Meanwhile, Syl offers Rita a job. Another body of the Slicer turns up and Deb isn’t too happy about this. She’s still getting pressed by Yuki from IA and she finally comes clean to Quinn.

Dex and Miguel are out fishing. Miguel wants to know how it felt killing criminals. In his visions, Harry tells him to put Miguel to the test, to see how like-minded they really are. Every time he lets people get close, things don’t work out.
Deb is shaken up by their next case. Wendell Owens was just 15 and he was killed. Unlike the others, he died during the skinning process. Deb thinks that someone is shadowing her investigation. All of the people that she’s bringing in are turning up dead. He points her to look at Ramon.
Maria learns that Ellen is bringing up charges on Miguel. He could be disbarred.
Deb goes to see Anton. She wants to make sure that he didn’t tell anyone. He didn’t. He makes a point of telling her that
Dex tells Miguel about a murder he worked on. A girl was killed by Clemson Galt, a neo-nazi. He confessed to his cellmate, but he wasn’t convicted. The Aryan Brotherhood intimidated all of the witnesses. He’s doing 15-20 in a supermax prison for armed robbery. Galt is still running things from inside. Dex wants Miguel to organize a way to access Galt in prison. This was a test, to make Miguel realize what he’s getting into. Dex gives him a way out, but Miguel is adamant about trying a way to get to Galt. Clemson Galt has been on his top ten list for years.
Dex learns from Maria that Camilla has lung cancer. Maria asks him to pay her a visit. She’s dying. Baptista calls Detective Gianna for a date. She tells him that if she gets hungry enough, she’ll call him. Deb asks Baptista about Ramon. Baptista tells her to check up this up off the grid.
Rita is looking around. Syl says that she’d be great at real estate. Syl offers her a job as an assistant. Miguel wants to subpoena Galt to come here to testify on a racketeering case. He’s organized a way for Miguel to get him. Restaurant.
Ramon is eating alone at a restaurant. Deb is surveilling him. Yuki drops by once again. She’s going to force Deb to wear a wire when she is with Quinn. Deb tells her to get lost. Yuki tries to blackmail her.
Miguel is walking Dex through the way to get to Galt. Miguel has convinced himself that he wants the kill for high and lofty reasons. Dex isn’t about to lie to himself. He just wants Galt dead.
Baptista doesn’t know it, but Gianna checked up on him by posting a hooker-looking decoy. He doesn’t fall into the trap and Gianna immediately calls him to go eat.
Rita talks Syl’s offer over with Dex. Rita confides in Dex that Miguel hasn’t been himself lately. He hasn’t been sleeping well. From the way that Miguel is behaving towards Galt, it seems like Galt was threatening Miguel’s family. That’s why Miguel has been so anxious to take care of him. Things don’t go proceeding to plan when a deputy goes to see Galt. Galt makes it out anyway and Dex makes it. He almost loses it. He thinks that Miguel was going to sell him out. That didn’t happen. Actually Miguel facilitated his escape.
Deb sees Ramon assault and kidnap some guy. He actually drops him in the trunk of his car. Deb calls Quinn. Deb follows Ramon. He’s got the dealer all tied up. He starts to torture the dealer. This is the dealer that Deb questioned some weeks ago. When the dealer doesn’t reveal anything, Ramon cuts him loose. He’s not the skinner. They arrest him for kidnapping, torture and false imprisonment. She convened Maria and Baptista to tell them the news. LaGuerta tells Morgan to book him. For once, Quinn didn’t take credit. He says that not perp-walking Ramon to booking was Morgan’s idea.
Deb tells Quinn that IA is investigating him. When he discovers that it’s Yuki, he knows what’s up. He doesn’t look too worried.
Dex is getting ready to do the deed. Miguel arrives at the stash house. He finds it empty. Dex kills Galt. Dex doesn’t want to share this part of his personality with anyone. Miguel will forgive him. He thinks that Miguel will see it as protecting him. After tonight, Dex really knows who Miguel really is. His first good friend.
