Moonlight Sleeping Beauty S01E10 (CBS)

It’s been a while since there has been a vampire show on TV. Angel was just a continuation of Buffy. Blade was an action show. Moonlight is somewhere in between. It’s gritty and romantic, which isn’t appalling. Unlike Angel and Forever Knight, Mick St-John isn’t that old of a vampire, so the flashbacks all take place in the 1950s to 1970s.

Alex O’Loughlin plays Mick St-John, a vampire private detective. He is a vampire who fully remembers what it meant to be human and longs to be human.

It was announced on December 4th that Moonlight would return for a second season next year. That is good news.

This was a great way to end this mid-season. Coraline is still alive and we don’t really know what happened with her. Beth still has mixed feelings about Mick. Mick has got mixed feelings about Beth. Things are all messed up. Beth and Mick find out that even Josef has a heart.

I really enjoyed this season and I am glad that Moonlight will be back next season with either a half season of a complete one.

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

The assassin is able to kill the cops and escape while in transit. Meanwhile, Mick and Beth are heading to NYC after Josef disappeared on them. A daughter of Whitley disappeared in 1955. Maybe that ties in with the reason why he wants to kill Josef.

Josh drops by to see Beth. Josh knows that there is something going on with Beth, but he just leaves when she can’t say what he needs to hear.

Martin drops by to see Whitley. He wants to know more about vampires and Whitley tells all. Josef, Beth and Mick all arrive in NYC.

Whitley knew Josef as Charles Fitzgerald. He killed his daughter in 1955. He gives them a diary to read. Josef was in love with the daughter.

Beth and Mick find Josef. He is with Sarah Whitley. She hasn’t aged a day. Josef tried turning her and she’s been in a coma ever since 1955.

Martin drops in and tries to kill Josef. He shoots and stakes him, but Mick stops him. Beth gives Josef Sarah’s diary.

Mick wants to do something with Beth, but she says that she has to get back to LA. She didn’t leave things well with Josh.
